| Art is by all accounts in everything I see and all I know... it is the definitive part of my soul... it is who I am. I am self-taught artist with painting being my first passion... mostly acrylics on anything that will stand still. However, over the last few years my love for polymer clay and creating art digitally has grown leaps and bounds. I find myself working mostly in the "in-between" of mixing medias. There's something almost magical when creating with more than one medium; affording me the freedom of no limitations on my imagination. No matter the medium, I work in layers... building one on another on another, and so on, until I see a face or a figure start to manifest... like a mystery unfolding. From that point on my one goal is to bring forth that vision, to make it real, with hopes that every person who views my work will find something that resonates within. |
